If you want to drive more traffic to your online store and hopefully increase your sales, then you need to make sure your ecommerce site is optimized for search engines. I’ve chosen some of my favorite Shopify SEO apps to share with you, so you can make your shop more SEO-friendly.
I’ve found apps to help you add custom meta tags to your site, determine how well your store is optimized for search engines, add SEO-friendly content to your website, review your search engine rankings for desired keywords, and more.
If you want more control over the way your store’s products appear in search engine results, then you have to try this Shopify SEO app. Instead of having to use Shopify’s default product descriptions and titles, Meta Tagger lets you customize this content with your desired keywords. By including the right terms in your site’s pages, you can improve your search engine rankings, increase traffic to your site, and hopefully earn more money.
Plug in SEO
If you need helping determining if your online store is optimized for search engines, then you need to check out Plug in SEO. This Shopify SEO app will check your site and tell you what changes, if any, you need to make for your store to be more search engine-friendly. Plus, Plug in SEO will regularly review your site and let you know if you have any SEO issues, helping you to stay on top of any problems with your store.
If you want an easy way to add SEO-friendly content to your online store, then you have to check out Super Reviews, a review app for Shopify. This additional content can help your store rank better for your current desired keywords, as well as new search terms.
Meta Tags Editor
Like other Shopify SEO plugins, Meta Tags Editor allows you to edit your store’s default descriptions, titles, and keywords, but it will also automatically generate and update your meta tags based on your site’s content. Plus, you can choose to exclude some pages from automatic meta tag generation and updates, allowing you to manually manage some pages while allowing Meta Tags Editor to handle the rest for you.
If you use an external site like Blogger, Tumblr, or WordPress for your store’s blog, then you need to check out BlogFeed. With this Shopify app you can export all of your existing blog posts into your store, allowing you to have your blog on the same domain as your shop. By having all of your search engine friendly content on the same domain as your store, you can organically improve your Shopify site’s SEO.
Your Google SEO Rankings
